BE INSPIRED - Robot Themed Lollypop Centrepiece

Posted by Little Dance on 8th Apr 2010

Create your own gorgeous Robot Themed Lollypop Centrepiece for your next Robot Party.

Here's the Know How!

Our Robot Lollypop Centrepiece was based on our Robot Party Themed Invitations.

Items we used

  • 25 x Medium Robot themed lollypops
  • 1 x round cake tin (we used an 8 inch round tin - you can purchase these in our Baking Supplies section
  • 1 x brick of florist foam
  • Foil

How we did it..

We placed the cake tin across the middle of the foam brick so that we could trace the shape of the tin onto the piece of foam, we had a small overhang on each side which we cut off using a kitchen knife. We then pressed the florist foam into the cake tin and used the overhanging pieces that we cut off earlier to fill up the gaps on either side.

We then carefully arranged the lollypops by pressing them one at a time into the florist foam to get the look we were are after. Once all the lollypops were arranged we tore off a stripe of foil approximately 15cm wide and folded it into three creating a thicker strip approximately 5cm wide. We then lined the edge of the cake tin with the strip of foil to cover up any florist foam that was showing.
