The iconic sock monkey emerged in the early 1900's in the United States. Mothers would create Sock Monkeys from worn-out old socks for their children. Today the sock monkey is increasing in popularity and springing up in parties all over!
We were contacted by a lovely mum to create a Sock Monkey design for her son's first birthday. The photos she sent through were of her gorgeous super trendy little boy in his sock monkey hat in a big bright red wagon! You can find the Sock Monkey design we used above under our themed party invitations.
We borrowed our colour pallete from the Sock Monkeys themselves, a delicious chocolate brown, bright red and tan. We tied the colours together with a bunting and our pom poms.
