Circle Tag
The children all sit (or stand) in a circle.
One child “IT” walks slowly around the outside of the circle, building suspense.
The child on the outside will tap ONE child as they pass by. This child must then chase “IT” around the outside of the circle.
If the tapped child catches and tags “IT” before IT gets around the circle and jumps into the empty space , then “IT” remains it, and walks around the circle again to try again.
If “IT” reaches the empty space in the circle without being tagged, the child that chased unsuccessfully becomes “IT” and must walk around the circle, to tap the next person.
Then the chase is on again! Great game to tire the kids out!
